Azilal rugs, as their name suggests, come from the steep Azilal region, located in the remote and very difficult to access mountains of the High Atlas, Azilal rugs show great creativity in terms of designs. They combine irregular and abstract patterns, numerous Berber symbols and graphics often based on diamonds.
