Morocco is set to host the highly anticipated TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025, bringing together 24 of the continent’s best football teams in an electrifying tournament running from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026. This landmark event marks the second time Morocco welcomes Africa’s top football nations on home soil, the first being in 1988.

The tournament will be held across nine world-class stadiums in six vibrant Moroccan cities: Rabat, Casablanca, Fes, Tangier, Marrakech, and Agadir. Fans can look forward to thrilling matches featuring Morocco’s national team, the Atlas Lions, who are eager to capture their second AFCON title in front of their passionate home crowd.

Morocco’s preparation and experience hosting major CAF events, including the recent Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, highlight the country’s status as a premier football destination. The Atlas Lions, under coach Walid Regragui, have been placed in Group A and will kick off the tournament against Comoros at the iconic Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah stadium in Rabat.
